On September 20, the Vietnamese Embassy in Slovakia received a donation of 17,095 euros from the Vietnamese community in Slovakia. This donation is intended to support citizens in Vietnam who have been impacted by the recent storm Yagi.
Touched by the warmth and solidarity of the Vietnamese community in Slovakia, Chargé d'Affaires of the Vietnamese Embassy in Slovakia, Nguyen Ngoc Anh, expressed high regard for the community's positive and proactive attitude. The diplomat extended sincere gratitude to the Executive Committee of the Vietnamese Association in Slovakia and the community at large for fostering a spirit of mutual support and swiftly coming together to aid fellow citizens in overcoming challenging times.
The staff, employees, and spouses of the Vietnamese Embassy in Slovakia previously donated one day's salary per person, amounting to a total of VND 8 million.

In Poland, the Vietnamese Embassy and the Vietnamese community have raised over VND 1 billion in donations. Association representatives have visited Vietnamese booths in shopping centers. Many Vietnamese community groups in Poland have employed numerous methods to contribute.
In the Czech Republic, the Vietnamese Embassy, the Union of Vietnamese Associations in Europe, and the Vietnamese Association in the Czech Republic initiated a donation campaign on September 10. To date, through three donation drives, the Vietnamese community has collected VND 3.3 billion, which has been transferred to the Central Relief Mobilization Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
The Vietnamese Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Duong Hoai Nam, has expressed high regard for the Union of Vietnamese Associations in Europe, the Vietnamese Association in the Czech Republic, and other Vietnamese groups for initiating a fundraising campaign to aid fellow citizens in Vietnam impacted by storm number 3 and subsequent flooding. The tangible spiritual and material support from the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic reflects the enduring spirit of those living abroad who continue to embrace the tradition of mutual affection and assistance for their native land.
The Vietnamese community in Canada has contributed an estimated CAD 3,800 and VND 193 million. Additionally, the Vietnam-Canada Business Association (VCBA) has pledged a donation of CAD 10,000 to assist those in the country in swiftly surmounting the challenges posed by the natural disaster.
Chau Tu Cuong, the President of the Vietnam-Canada Business Association, announced that the VCBA will donate CAD 10,000. Furthermore, the VCBA in Vancouver is organizing additional fundraising efforts due to the severe effects of Typhoon Yagi on Northern Vietnam.
