With each map being displayed, many Vietnamese people living, working, and studying in Japan will understand more about the country's geographical indications and the long history of people fighting to protect the land.
"I feel this is an extremely meaningful activity because maps do not only provide knowledge about geography but are also the shape of our homeland, the place where we were born. The launch of the movement to use Vietnam's map widely started by young people is a good sign before the new year 2024. This is also a reminder of the sacred sovereignty of the homeland that is carried in the heart of each Vietnamese people,” Le Thuong remarked.
At the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented the map of Vietnam to Osaka University, the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Association, YouTuber Betonamu Kun, the Fukuoka Vietnamese Association, the Toyama Vietnamese Association, and JVS, among others.

"Receiving the map will help students of the Vietnamese department at our university learn about Vietnam's historical geography in the most accurate way. This is the first time we have received a map from Vietnam. This activity is significant and practical, especially in teaching and learning for international students to understand Vietnam.”
