Paintings and books about President Ho Chi Minh introduced in Toronto
The book and painting exhibition about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh took place on May 14, in Toronto, on the occasion of his 127th birthday.
In the presence of many Canadian friends, the representative of the Communist Party of Canada, representatives of the Spanish community in Toronto and numerous students, Dr. Nguyen Dai Trang was honored to introduce the book " Ho Chi Minh: Humanities and Development " Spanish version. This is the second book about Uncle Ho by Dr. Nguyen Dai Trang, however it was first time translated into Spanish. Previously, the book was published in Vietnamese and English.
Alma Farias, a representative of the Spanish community in Toronto, was delighted to hear that the book was translated into Spanish. She said many Latin American countries wished to learn President Ho Chi Minh's principles, as well as Vietnam's valuable experience in building the country after the war. In the coming time, she will contact the Spanish Office for Economic and Commerical Affaires in Toronto to introduce the book.
Also at the ceremony, the guests could admire two paintings of Uncle Ho and many paintings of Vietnamese people and landscapes by the artist Jean Maurice Gélinas in Montreal./.
