The State Funeral Board and the family of General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong delivered a thank-you message following the burial service for the Party leader on July 26 afternoon.

In recent days, hundreds of people's organizations, foreign non-governmental organizations, and individuals (who are friends and partners of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations and its member organizations) from all over the world have sent telegrams, letters, and messages of condolences to the Party, State, and people of Vietnam, the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations, and its central and local member organizations.

People from all walks of life across the country came together to pay their respects to General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong at the National Funeral Hall in Hanoi, the Thong Nhat Hall in Ho Chi Minh City, and his hometown in Dong Hoi commune of Hanoi’s Dong Anh district on the morning of July 26.

Upon the passing of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, the Japan-Vietnam Peace and Friendship Promotion Council (JVPF) and the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Association in Kawasaki City sent letters, telegrams, and messages of condolences to the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations, its member organizations, and the Vietnamese people to express their deep condolences and sentiments.
