Since December 2014, after the embassy officially opened in Hanoi, the country has begun granting visas in Vietnam instead of having to send documents for the visa to its embassy in Thailand. The move has helped to reduce the duration for the visa application from 15 days to 7 days as regulated.
Each year, Peru attracts more than 3.2 million foreign tourists to well-known destinations such as Machu Picchu – The lost city of the Incas, Lima capital and the Nazca desert.
Mr. Luis Tsuboyama stressed bilateral trade turnover between Vietnam and Peru now reaches USD360 million. The two sides saw an average growth of 120%-150% between 2005 and 2015. This is considered as a positive signal to promote the cooperative relation between the two countries in various fields./.
