Peruvian literature arts introduced to Vietnamese readers
(VNF) - On the morning of July 26, the Peruvian Embassy in Vietnam donated over 20 books on Peruvian culture and literature to the National Library of Vietnam. The event aims to celebrate the 196th National Day of Peru.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chargé d’affaires of the Peruvian Embassy Luis Tsuboyama, said the book donation was to help Vietnamese readers gain access to information about Peru’s culture, literature, cuisine and travel.
The relationship between Peru and Vietnam is increasingly being developed and promoted in many fields, from economy - politics to culture - society, he said. Last year, heads of state of the two countries met in Lima, reaffirming their commitment to deepening the Peru-Vietnam relationship.
Director of the National Library of Vietnam Kieu Thuy Nga, gave a deep thanks to the Embassy of Peru for donating these meaningful books. The books will be added to the collection of Spanish and English books available at the library. They will be a valuable source of information about Peru, a country of heritage.
Vietnam and Peru formally established diplomatic relations in 1994. In 2016, the relationship between the two countries was raised to new heights when President Tran Dai Quang and Peruvian President Pablo Kuczynsky held talks in Lima, agreeing to promote the signing of bilateral cooperation and expand cooperation in all areas, including culture.
