President Phuc said that Vietnam attaches great importance to promoting the traditional friendship and cooperation with Mozambique, and considers it one of Vietnam’s key cooperation partners in Africa.

He spoke highly of the results of talks and meetings between the Mozambican legislator and Vietnamese officials during her visit and suggested both sides increase the exchange of visits at all levels and through various channels.

President Phuc affirmed that Vietnam is willing to share its experience in operating at the United Nations Security Council with Mozambique, actively implement bilateral cooperation mechanisms, and continue to coordinate closely with Mozambique at multilateral forums.

The Assembly President affirmed that the Mozambique-Vietnam relations have been developing well in various fields, especially since the two countries established diplomatic relations. She cited recent cooperation agreements signed with Vietnamese agencies and hoped for strengthened bilateral ties.
