Requiem for heroic martyrs held in Russia
On May 2nd, a requiem was held to commemorate heroic martyrs and international friends who sacrificed their lives for the sacred sovereignty of Vietnam in Moscow, Russia.
The requiem was first held in the Russian Federation to educate overseas Vietnamese about peace-loving of Vietnam, its traditions, national and international solidarity.
"This is an event to respond to the important activities of our country, being held jubilantly across Vietnam, as well as many parts of the world where Vietnamese communities live," Vietnamese Ambassador to the Russian Federation Nguyen Thanh Son spoke at the event.
Ending the ceremony, all the participants burnt incense to express reverence and gratitude to heroic martyrs and international friends sacrificed for the territorial sovereignty of the nation./.
