Dennie Matthews, business head of the Asia-Pacific region of the US National Restaurant Association (NRA) came to Vietnam and participated in a 2023 strategic partnership meeting with Chu Hong Minh, president of the Restaurant Association of Vietnam (RAV).

This event is not only an opportunity to exchange and share experiences between the two Parties but also opens up opportunities for strategic cooperation between the NRA and the RAV as well as HTS Group in developing training programs and high-quality human resources for the restaurant sector in Vietnam.

The Restaurant Association of Vietnam (RAV) belongs to the Vietnam Cuisine Culture Association (VCCA), co-founder of the ASEAN Restaurant Association Alliance.

The association always strives to develop the restaurant and culinary business ecosystem and strategic projects to support member businesses to develop, thereby promoting the sustainable development of the industry.

The US National Restaurant Association (NRA), founded in 1919, is the leading business association in the Restaurant industry. Together with its Educational Foundation, the NRA works to bring the US's restaurant sector into a new era of prosperity and better life quality.

At the meeting, the two sides shared their concerns and goodwill as well as a roadmap for cooperation in the 2024 - 2025 period. The program aims to train 500 restaurant businesses in Vietnam and issue 1,000 International Professional Management certifications for senior and middle management positions in the industry.

Also attending the meeting were Arnold Hieu, OMG Global Cuisine Ambassador in Vietnam, and Doan Duc Minh, member of the Executive Committee of the RAV.
