Russia day celebrated in Ho Chi Minh city
On the evening of June 8, the General Consulate of Russia in Ho Chi Minh City celebrated the National Day of the Russian Federation (June 12, 1990 - June 12, 2017).

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Huynh Cach Mang said the cooperation between Vietnam and Russia has been growing strongly since the two countries became comprehensive strategic partnership in 2012. Ho Chi Minh City has established friendly relations with Moscow, Saint Peterburg, Vlapostok, Moscow and Svetlov.
Areas of cooperation include economic, environmental and water management, education and training, science and culture - tourism.
