Sam Mountain given nod to be national tourist area
Deputy Prime Minister (PM), Vu Duc Dam has agreed to add the Sam mountain relic in the southern province of An Giang to the list of national tourist areas.
Deputy Prime Minister (PM), Vu Duc Dam has agreed to add the Sam mountain relic in the southern province of An Giang to the list of national tourist areas.

The Deputy PM asked the An Giang Province People’s Committee to coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant agencies to research, set a scheme for the Sam mountain tourist area and submit the scheme to him for approval.
He also asked for the mobilization of capital sources from inpiduals and organisations to realize the scheme.
Sam Mountain is located in Vinh Te commune, Chau Doc City, An Giang Province. The mountain is famous for natural landscapes and many cultural and architectural vestiges./.
