Despite falling behind 2-1 in the first half, the Sanna team made a strong comeback after half-time scoring five consecutive goals in the very last minutes to snatch the aggregate win with three points.

Sanna’s victory put out the title ambition of Thai Son Bac which managed to beat Sanatech Khanh Hoa 6-4 in another game played earlier the same day.

After seven matches, having 19 points, Sanna Khanh Hoa achieved their first ever national futsal championship title, receiving VND80 million (USD3,680) in cash prize.

Thai Son Bac was the runner-up with 18 points, pocketing VND50 million (USD2,300), while the VND30 million prize went to Thai Son Nam with 13 points.

Finally, six teams have received automatic qualification for the second round of the 2016 National Futsal Championships, including Sanna Khanh Hoa, Thai Son Bac, Thai Son Nam, Sanatech Khanh Hoa, Tan Hiep Hung and Hoang Thu Da Nang.

Sanna Khanh Hoa also claimed the fair-play prize and player, Thanh Dat was voted as the most valuable of the tour.

Van Vu of Thai Son Nam and Nguyen Phuc of Sanatech Khanh Hoa were named the competition’s top scorers, while Thai Son Nam’s Van Huy won the ‘best goalkeeper’ title./.

The 2015 National Futsal Championships saw 10 teams competing in the first stage from March 29th to April 7th. The top eight teams of the first stage qualified for the second taking place from April 12th to 23rd, during which they competed in a round robin format to decide the overall champions.
