Accordingly, when tourists book tours to France through the six travel companies of Hanoi Red Tours, Naci Travel, Hanoi Iso Tours, Hanoi Tourist, South Pacific Travel and Vietfoot Travel, they will be permitted priority appointments at the French Embassy for visa applications.
In addition, papers will be simplified and procedures will be shortened for Vietnamese tourists who travel to Europe or other countries.
Mr. Mathias Fekl, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, the Promotion of Tourism and French Nationals Abroad, said that the deals aim to contribute to simplifying procedures for visa applicants and facilitating Vietnamese tourists to France.
The number of Vietnamese tourists to France is increasing rapidly. In 2014, the French Embassy granted 24,269 visas, a 28.7% rise over a year earlier, of which 11,000 visas are for tourism, up 63%./.
