The Southern Fruit Festival 2015 will be held on June 1^st at Suoi Tien Cultural Tourist Area, in Ho Chi Minh city.

This year’s festival will attract the participation of 21 provinces and cities in the southern region and neighboring localities, displaying and selling numerous specialties for tourists with special prices.

The 20-day event will have numerous activities for people and tourists at home and abroad, such as a fruit market and art and handicraft products, a fruit carnival, a fruit parade and an exhibition displaying entries of online competition “Colors of Tien Stream” and other art performances.

On the sidelines, the festival will have a location introducing fruits which have won prizes through competitions or were certified with VietGap and Global Gap standards, fruit collections of valuable and rare fruits both domestically and internationally.

The Southern Fruit Festival has so far became a unique cultural and tourism product, contributing to positively promoting the image of Ho Chi Minh city amongst all visitors.
