Special stamp collection on Hung Kings worshipping relief issued
A collection of three stamps featuring the Hung Kings worshipping belief was issued on April 23rd in the northern midland province of Phu Tho to mark the 2015 Hung Kings Tempe Festival.

The issuing ceremony was held by the Ministry of Information and Communications in coordination with the Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee and Vietnam Post Corporation (VietnamPost).

The stamps, designed by painters Vo Luong Nhi and Vu Kim Lien, consist of three samples and one block. The collection features the entrance to the Hung Kings Temple, Hung Kings worship rituals, and Vietnamese ethnic groups’ preparations to offer gift to the Hung Kings.

The unique practice of worshiping the Hung Kings in the midland northern province of Phu Tho was recognised by UNESCO as part of the world’s intangible cultural heritage in 2012./.
