(VNF) – The Lunar New Year special edition of various old-time Vietnamese magazines and newspapers will be displayed in the Spring Book Festival 2018 in Hanoi.

The Spring Book Festival will introduce to visitors a collection of Spring edition of various newspapers in the past, including those only published before 1945, together with the old-time Lunar New Year edition of famous news outlets, which are still working nowadays, such as The pioneers, Arts, Labour,etc.

The Spring editions, besides their exquisite design and captivating content, also reflected the characteristics of the society in different periods throughout the last 100 years.

Besides exhibiting old-time newspapers, the Spring Book Festival also offers nearly 20 tonnes of second-hand books, covering a wide range of fields (literature, history, culture, lifestyle, business, military, healthcare, etc.) and a mass volume of newly-published books.

The Spring Book festival 2018 will be held from March 6 – 11, from 8am to 10pm in Van lake (opposite main entrance of the Temple of Literature)./.
