With a total non-refundable aid of USD 26.000, equivalent to nearly VND 627 million from the US Embassy in Vietnam, the Project will be implemented in 29 months (from January 2025 to June 2027) and deployed at the International Education Center under Hong Duc University, Thanh Hoa province.

Specifically, about 20 students aged 13-20, with good academic performance and difficult family circumstances, will be selected publicly, fairly, equally and gender-balanced based on their academic results and applications.
This is a global scholarship program of the US Department of State, aiming to create opportunities for students aged 13-20, with good academic performance and difficult family circumstances, to study a high-quality English program completely free of charge for more than 02 years.
The Project helps students have more opportunities to excel in their studies and careers, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality and the country, and at the same time, helping them improve their English proficiency to seek scholarship opportunities to study abroad in the United States.
From 2023 to 2025, 25 students aged 13 to 17 from high schools in Thanh Hoa province were selected for this scholarship. The program provides English skills for students to have better job and educational opportunities as well as the ability to compete and participate in exchange and study activities in the future.
