This aid will provide scholarships to poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged students at schools in Thua Thien Hue Province. The total value of the aid is VND 100 million (US $4,128.6).

The project aims to provide scholarships for disadvantaged students in the Thua Thien Hue region, helping to create opportunities and encourage them to attend school.
Specifically, 15 scholarships will be awarded at Phan Dang Luu High School, 30 scholarships at the Quang Dien District Department of Education and Training, 30 scholarships at the Phong Dien District Department of Education and Training, and 25 scholarships at the A Luoi District Department of Education and Training.
Children of Vietnam is a US-based non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in 1998. The organization operates in the areas of healthcare, education, and community development across multiple provinces and cities in Vietnam. Its work has been highly appreciated by levels of agencies and local communities.
To date, tens of thousands of children in Vietnam have benefitted from its four main programs, which include education, nutrition, clean water, and sanitation. Additionally, there are two supplementary programs, including the Empowering Foundation for Women and their Children Program, and the Hope System of Care Program.
