Susann’s Help for children and Khanh Hoa Union of Friendship Organizations (KHUFO) on September 9th presented 1196 gift packages to poor students of 11 local primary schools.

Nearly 1,200 gift packages worth USD 9.500 from Susann’s Help for children are meant to share the burdens of teacher and students in disadvantaged localities, facilitating education in mountainous areas.

Attending the charitable programme, Chairman of KHUFO Ly Ba Lin said “ The trip brought us unforgettable experiences.The children here not only have to travel long distance to reach, but also have to study in a deprived condition. We were deeply touched when seeing them eating simple meals, wearing old sandals and clothes. I hope that more groups and inpiduals will come to support them, encouraging them on the schooling journey.

Your meaningful gifts not only provide us great help in terms of materials, but also give poor students the motivation to come to school”.

Besides presenting gifts, the organization’s members also conducted exchange activities and games to bring joys to the disadvantaged students.

The gifting program is an annual charity event launched in mountainous areas by Susann’s Help for children to support needy children, contributing to local social security.
