The World Bank (WB) estimates that among ASEAN countries, Indonesia's economy will grow sustainably at a steady pace in the coming years thanks to a rise in public spending, increased business investment and stable consumer demand.

The US website Bloomberg.com reported on January 8 that the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), which was among the first in Asia to lower borrowing costs in 2023, will likely keep its benchmark interest rate steady through next year as it addresses economic growth and inflation concerns.
