The visit contributes to further strengthening the Vietnam-France strategic partnership, consolidating the relationship between the Vietnamese Party and political parties in France; promoting increasingly effective and substantive cooperation; enhancing people-to-people diplomatic activities.

Several French and international officials have applauded Vietnam's relations with France, as well as the Southeast Asian country’s contributions to the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 2023.

The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations and the Vietnam - France Friendship and Cooperation Association expressed deep condolences over the death of a great friend of the country.
