An Elderly Japanese Man Dreams of Building 200 New Schools in Vietnam

After retiring in 2004, Tanikawa Hiroshi established the Asian Education and Friendship Association (AEFA) in order to accomplish his goal, which is to contribute to the society. To date, he has mobilised funds to build about 320 schools in many Asian countries, most of them in Vietnam.
