The October Revolution of 1917 in Russia marked a historic turning point when, for the first time, the working class, led by a true communist party, seized power from the ruling class.

The Vietnam-Russia Friendship Associations in several localities have held many activities to mark the 104th anniversary of the Russian October Revolution

A delegation from the Central Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association, Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO), Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations (HAUFO), Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association of Hanoi and chapters, on November 7 laid wreaths at the statue of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin in Ba Dinh district on ocassion of the 103rd anniversary of the Russian October Revolution (November 7, 1917-2020).

The event was meant to celebrate the 103 year anniversary of the October Revolution, the 70th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties and the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on fundamental principles of Vietnam – Russia friendship.
