Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has expressed his belief that Vietnam will record stronger, more effective, and more sustainable socio-economic development in the second quarter of 2022.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a cabinet meeting on the drafting of a socio-economic recovery and development programme on October 24.

Vietnam's 17 sustainable development goals to 2030 include these three goals among its seventeen: eliminating all forms of poverty in any localities; ensuring quality, equitable, and inclusive education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all; achieving gender equality; empowering and creating opportunities for women and girls.

On August 3, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc hosted one-day regular cabinet meeting for July. In this meeting, the Vietnamese government discussed measures to fulfill socio-economic goals amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
