On December 21, 2020, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution – co-sponsored by the United Arab Emirates and Egypt – proclaiming February 4 as the International Day of Human Fraternity, inviting all Member States and international organizations to observe the International Day of Human Fraternity annually.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates (August 1, 1993-2023), UAE Ambassador to Vietnam Bader Almatrooshi affirmed that the positive development momentum in bilateral relations is the result of comprehensive cooperation between the leaders, diplomats, businesses as well as the friendship between the two peoples.
