On March 21, the Department of Foreign Affairs under the Ministry of Public Security organized a seminar on the United Nations Universal Periodic Review (UPR) on human rights.

People’s organizations have played an increasingly important role in building, protecting, and monitoring the implementation of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR), said Vice President of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) Nguyen Ngoc Hung.

Vietnam is a “great family” of nearly 100 million members who live harmoniously in diversity, as reflected through the material and spiritual life of the 54 ethnic groups and the guaranteed freedom of religion and belief.
