Since 1996, France’s Val de Marne province has assisted Vietnam’s northern mountainous province of Yen Bai province through projects in many fields, making their relationship a typical example of local cooperation between the two countries.

The northern mountainous province of Yen Bai has donated 50,000 masks to the French department of Val-de-Marne.
