On the evening of September 6, the enchanting Bossa Nova rhythms of Brazil filled the Ho Guom Opera in Hanoi, commemorating the 202nd National Day of the Federative Republic of Brazil (September 7, 1822 - September 7, 2024), as well as the 35th anniversary of Vietnam and Brazil's diplomatic ties (May 8, 1989 - May 8, 2024).

Over the past 35 years, the relationship between Vietnam and Brazil has been developing positively in all fields, becoming more substantive and effective with closer political ties and trust, and expanded economic and trade cooperation, stated Vietnamese Ambassador to Brazil Bui Van Nghi.

General Secretary of the Brazil-Vietnam Friendship Association (ABRAVIET) Pedro Da Oliveira had a meeting with the newly-appointed Vietnamese Ambassador to Brazil Bui Van Nghi, during which they discussed coordination in the time ahead.
