Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) and Son La City (Son La Province) recently became the Global Network of Learning Cities (GNLC) as announced by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) on February 14.

In Group 4 Asian and Pacific States, India, Japan, Philippines, Vietnam, Cook Islands, and China got elected to the Executive Board.
