The Embassy of Vietnam in the United States (US), in collaboration with Things To Do DC, held an event at the Vietnam House in Washington, DC to promote the country’s economy, culture, and cuisine. Attendees expressed their admiration for Vietnam's economic achievements and a desire to explore the country's famous landscapes across its three regions and showed interest in seeking investment and business opportunities in Vietnam.

Major General Vu Trung Kien, Deputy Commander in charge of law at the Vietnam Coast Guard Command has expressed his hope that the US Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics & Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) will augment cooperation with the Vietnam Coast Guard and Border Guard amid complicated developments of drug and human trafficking crimes.

A concert marking the 10th anniversary of the Vietnam-US Comprehensive Partnership was held in the evening of July 26 in Hanoi, presenting a unique musical collaboration of traditional instruments with modern electronic elements by Vietnamese and American artists.

The US congressional delegation hopes that the visit to Vietnam from April 7-11 will inherit and promote the tradition of the forerunners in building, consolidating and bringing the relationship between the two countries to an ever-evolving development.
