Vietnamese Ambassador to Brazil Bui Van Nghi met Vice Mayor of Rio de Janeiro and officials to discuss the celebration activities marking the 35th anniversary of Vietnam-Brazil diplomatic ties.

They will work to increase Brazilian business delegations to Vietnam to explore cooperation opportunities, said the newly-accredited Vietnamese Ambassador to Brazil.

General Secretary of the Brazil-Vietnam Friendship Association (ABRAVIET) Pedro Da Oliveira had a meeting with the newly-appointed Vietnamese Ambassador to Brazil Bui Van Nghi, during which they discussed coordination in the time ahead.

Highlighting agricultural trade as an outstanding field of cooperation between the two countries, Vietnamese Ambassador to Brazil Pham Thi Kim Hoa suggested that the two sides continue to promote negotiations on agricultural and aquatic products in the coming time on the basis of mutual benefits and balance of trade.
