On December 21, in Hanoi, the Committee on Ethnic Minority Affairs (CEMA), in coordination with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Vietnam and the Australian Embassy in Vietnam held the "Launching ceremony of the Project on Accelerating Multi-dimensional Poverty Reduction and Socio-economic Development in Ethnic Minority Areas in Vietnam”.

The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will continue to implement a range of projects through the Japanese Government’s ODA to support Vietnam in socio-economic development.
