"Thi Mai - A journey to Vietnam" to be brought to Da Nang this weekend
“Thi Mai – A journey to Vietnam” (“Thi Mai – Rumbo a Vietnam”), a comedy jointly produced by Vietnam and Spain on occasion of the two countries’ 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties establishment will be brought to audience in Da Nang city this weekend.

Thi Mai – Rumbo a Vietnam” tells the story of three Spanish women, Carmen and her two friends.They travel to Vietnam to adopt Thi Mai, a little girl that Carmen's deceased daughter had planned to adopt.
The first trip to the South East Asian country has brought them a number of hilarious experiences, due to confusion caused by cultural difference, including the 'sunblock' fashion of Vietnamese women.
In addition to funny scenes, "Thi Mai - Rumbo a Vietnam" is also fulled of touching moments, which feature love which transcend the barrier of language and culture.
Through the movie, viewers get a beautifully filmed tour of Hanoi and other parts of Vietnam, including world heritage Ha Long Bay,
The movie was directed by Patricia Ferreir, bringing together well-know stars of Spain and Vietnam, such as Carmen Machi, Aitana Sanchez-Gijon, Adriana Ozores, Dani Rovira, Chiều Xuân, Mạnh Cường.
“Thi Mai – A rumbo a Vietnam” will be screened at 19:00 tomorrow (September 8) in Le Do movie theater (46 Tran Phu, Hai Chau ward, Hai Chau district, Da Nang), as part of the on-going Spanish movies week./.
