Third India-Vietnam Art Exhibition 2017 kicks off in Hanoi

An group exhibition entitled “Colors of Love between India – Vietnam” showcasing 52 paintings of international eminent painters from International Eminent and Modern Art of India (IEMA), is being kick start on April 11th in Hanoi.

(VNF) - An group exhibition entitled “Colors of Love between India – Vietnam” showcasing 52 paintings of international eminent painters from International Eminent and Modern Art of India (IEMA), is being kick start on April 11th in Hanoi.

52 Indian and international artists have brought to the exhibition their artworks, including paintings using oil, lacquer and wood to create as well as graphics and digital prints which are categorized according to a wide range of topics such as lotus – the iconic flower of Buddhism, landscapes and people.

IEMA aims to promote art world wide and form a progressive group internationally who can meet and share their ideas, inspiration and thoughts.

According to Mr. Amandeep Singh Vaseer, founder of IEMA, the event aims to introduce Vietnamese art lovers and collectors to artists and their thoughts and inspirations from India as well as some other countries.

“Vietnam is very peaceful country. We think that many Vietnamese people will be fond of the paintings and have decided to bring them to Hanoi. Through this event, Vietnamese could have better understanding about India’s culture, respective art and its people.”

IEMA have been organizing exhibitions all over at national and international level.

It also managed the complete art show at “United Nations day of Vesak 2014” held in Vietnam which was highly appreciated and displayed Art Works from the world over on Buddha. IEMA also organized another very successful Art Show in Vietnam in collaboration with Indian Embassy and Fine Art Association of Vietnam in 15 years when Amandeep Singh Vaseer, Founder IEMA represented India and Indian Art on Buddhism in the United Nations Day of Vesak 2014 in Vietnam.

The First Art Show was held at Bai Dinh Temple, Ninh Binh as well as Hanoi and was attended by many International dignitaries, Government Officials and about 60,000 visitors.

This year, two countries celebrated the 45th anniversary of the diplomatic relationship establishment between the two countries (January 7th, 1972 – 2017) and the 10th anniversary of the strategic partnership relationship establishment (2007-2017).

The exhibits are opening free at the Art Exhibition Centre, Photography (29 Hang Bai Str., Hoan Kiem Dist., Hanoi) until Monday (Apr. 17th)./.
