Ma Pi Leng Pass

Nho Que River

It is one of the fresh green symbols of Meo Vac, Ha Giang. Nho Que River is located at the foot of Ma Pi Leng Pass. It flows through the cliffs, forming a blue boundary between the passes here. The water is clearest in the early days of summer or autumn, but the most ideal time of the year is still in November when the water turns turquoise.

To be able to fully explore the Nho Que river, visitors can ride a motorbike from the top of Ma Pi Leng pass, and follow the trail on the mountainside running along the river downstream. Lung Cu flagpole

The Lung Cu flagpole is one of the most famous places. It attracts many tourists in Ha Giang and is one of the national flagpoles located on the top of Lung Cu or Dragon Mountain. "Lung" in the H'mong language means corn, Lung Cu is the valley of corn, the reason for its name is because there used to be large fields where corn was grown and today there are many buckwheat trees. Today, the season of buckwheat flowers has become a festival in Ha Giang.

The flagpole is designed in an octagonal shape similar to the Hanoi flagpole. The 8 base faces of the column simulate the Dong Son bronze drum pattern and illustrate different historical periods of the country. At the foot of the Lung Cu flagpole, is the Lung Cu border post, where there is a station dedicated to protecting the flag on the top of the Lung Cu flagpole.

On the flagpole is the image of the sacred red flag with a yellow star. Standing on the roof of the flagpole, looking down, tourists will see the majestic scenery of Ha Giang.

Khau Vai Market

Khau Vai love market is held once a year on the 27th day of the third lunar month. On this day, this market returns as a bustling and joyful note on the land of Meo Vac with stones and flowers. The market is for those who have incomplete love, fell in love but couldn't be together. Despite the deep forests and dangerous high mountains, many people are still eager to cross the pass and wade streams to find the Khau Vai love market with anticipation and hope.

The road to Khau Vai is winding, dotted with houses halfway up the mountain. During the day when the cold is still lingering, visitors to the Khau Vai love market will be satisfied with the majestic scene and feel the magic of the white mist floating on the top of the high mountain.

Tu San deep gorge

Tu San Deep Gorge is a beautiful natural wonder in Ha Giang. Tu San Canyon is located between Dong Van and Meo Vac. With an altitude of 1500m, and a depth of 700 - 900m, flowing in the direction of Northwest - Southeast. Palace of the Vuong family

The mansion of the Vuong family, also known as the palace of King Meo Vuong Chinh Duc, is the most unique architectural work of Ha Giang. The mansion is located in the middle of Sa Phin valley, Dong Van district, on a high floating block of land like the shape of a tortoiseshell, symbolizing the Tortoise god, surrounded by an arc-shaped mountain range, creating a very excellent defensive terrain. Dong Van Plateau

Dong Van rock plateau is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Ha Giang. To reach the rocky plateau, tourists are forced to go through the Ma Pi Leng pass. Don Cao Fortress

Don Cao Fort is one of the historical vestiges of the resistance war against the French colonialists in Vietnam. The fortress consists of 2 floors, the walls of the fortress are built of Trung Thoi limestone, averaging 6-10m high, and 80cm thick. There are many holes in the wall. The two southern corners of the fortress have two bunkers.

Dong Van Old Town

With the beauty in the colorful traditional culture, Dong Van old town has created an impressive and unique highlight on the rocky plateau of Dong Van - Ha Giang. This old town consists of many ethnic groups: Kinh, Tay, Dao, Mong, and Nung people. This old town consists of 40 houses, all of which are more than 100 years old. The special thing here is that the old town is imbued with Chinese architecture with two-story houses, yin and yang tiles, and red lanterns hanging high to dispel the harsh cold of the rocky plateau.
