Vietnam Airlines to launch new process for web check-in

(VNF) - Vietnam Airlines passengers from June 25th may enjoy the hassle-free check-in using their boarding pass (either printed on paper or displayed on mobile or tablet device), which has been processed through web/mobile check-in, to go straight through security.

(VNF) - Vietnam Airlines passengers from June 25th may enjoy the hassle-free check-in using their boarding pass (either printed on paper or displayed on mobile or tablet device), which has been processed through web/mobile check-in, to go straight through security.

The new regulation will be applied to passengers without checked baggage and without accompanied guest to Business Lounge, on domestic flights departed from Noi Bai, Da Nang and Tan Son Nhat airport.

When using web check-in, passengers are able to choose available seat on flight by themselves, print online boarding pass or receive them via email/e-device. Once completed, passengers will need to present the boarding pass and personal identification at security.

Platinum and Gold members obtain Business Lounge invitation card for accompanied guests at check-in counters as current procedure (Platinum can invite one guest; and Platinum and Gold can redeem miles for one guest to access to Business Lounge).

Web check-in, a convenient service that allows passengers to online check-in their flights with any devices connected to the Internet and accessed to Vietnam Airlines website Web check-in, is available beginning 24 hours up to 02 hours before the flight departure time./.

Currently, web check-in is applicable for Vietnam Airlines domestic and international flights departing from the following cities: Busan (PUS), Da Nang (DAD), Hanoi (HAN), Ho Chi Minh city (SGN), Kuala Lumpur (KUL), Phnom Penh (PNH), Siem Reap (REP), Seoul-Incheon airport (ICN), Singapore (SIN), Tokyo-Narita airport (NRT), Tokyo-Haneda airport (HND), Jakarta (CGK), Bangkok (BKK), Taipei (TPE), Frankfurt (FRA), Beijing (PEK), and Hongkong (HKG).
