On the morning of May 18, the branches of the Vietnam Consulate in Hong Kong and Macau and the branches of the representative agencies in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region held a special meeting at the Tai Kwun relic site, including the Victoria prison, on the 131st birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890-May 19, 2021) and 110th anniversary of Uncle Ho's departure to find a way to save the country (June 5, 1911-June 5, 2021).

This is where Uncle Ho was detained and tried during his operation in Hong Kong.

Through this activity, officials and party members in Hong Kong have the opportunity to learn more about the background and life of President Ho Chi Minh's glorious revolutionary activities during the years of arduous revolutionary activities in Hong Kong.

Speaking at the end of the activity, Vietnamese Consul General to Hong Kong and Macau Pham Binh Dam said that this activity is organized at the prison complex that held President Ho Chi Minh from June 1931 to January 1933.

This is a very meaningful activity. Officials and party members at the Consulate General as well as Vietnamese representative agencies in Hong Kong come here to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh, remember his active life and the early days of our Party's establishment in Hong Kong.

From there, each person looks back to continuously cultivate revolutionary morality, constantly learns to follow President Ho Chi Minh's moral example, and tries best at work to fulfill Uncle Ho's wish as the Party's principle, which is to develop our country and stand shoulder to shoulder with world powers.
