Vietnam - India Enhance Cooperation in Journalism Training
Running from March 18-20, the program aims to provide attendees with knowledge and expertise to navigate the evolving media landscape.

Speaking at the inauguration, Dr. Shashank Goel, IAS, Director General of the Institute & Spl Chief Secretary to the Government of Telangana, who was the Chief Guest, said the program was built on the long-term friendly cooperation of the Vietnamese and Indian governments.
In the past, traditional media have been holding significant sway in public communications. "These Channels have been keeping the citizens well informed about societal issues and empowering them to contribute to positive change and inclusive development", he observed.
Given the emergence of social media platforms, the world of media is witnessing a profound transformation. Journalism and public relations are indispensable pillars of societies, which reflect the voice of the people.
"Effective communication is not just messaging, but it is all about building bridges, fostering understanding and driving positive change," said Dr. Shashank Goel.
Stating that Vietnam is known for its colorful cultural heritage, exciting journey of economic development, and rich democratic traditions, he hopes that the training program further strengthens the bilateral relations between Vietnam and India.

On this occasion, Dr Shashank Goel, IAS released the Course Manual.
The training program provides Vietnamese journalists with sessions by highly eminent experts from across India and multiple field visits in Hyderabad, Delhi, and Agra.
