They strengthen the position and reputation of the overseas Vietnamese community in the host country.
According to Chairman Pham Quang Hieu, there are 107 overseas Vietnamese from 25 countries around the world, returning home to attend the Vietnam Summer Camp 2022.

Le Tien Chau, vice president and general secretary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee appreciated the summer camp activities for overseas Vietnamese youth. This is also a meaningful program to connect overseas Vietnamese youth and their homeland - Vietnam.
Through the program, the young generation of overseas Vietnamese can learn about the country's political, social, cultural, historical issues and natural landscapes. They can meet with the young generation in the country, contributing to the guidelines and policies of the Party and State for overseas Vietnamese affairs in the new situation.
Le Tien Chau hopes that when young overseas Vietnamese leave Vietnam, they will take with them a journey full of fond memories of their roots. They become messengers to introduce Vietnamese culture, history, country and people to the international community.
Overseas Vietnamese preserves cultural traditions and national identity, the Vietnamese language in the overseas Vietnamese community. They foster activities of the movement of overseas students and youth. This is a key measure for overseas Vietnamese to support each other in life, study, work and towards the Fatherland.
