Dao Minh Quang was born in a poor family in the rural province of Phu Tho, Vietnam. However, thanks to the concerns of his parents for his education, he succeeded in learning and became a student of a university in the German Democratic Republic.

"Since I was studying in Germany, I have had the opportunity to get acquainted with many different cultures around the world. Over time, I have learned and acquired knowledge and experience in Germany, in Vietnam and many other countries in the world in a wide range of fields, such as business, science or culture. Dao said, since the old days when his parents were still alive, though their life was difficult they always wanted to help and support students. So, when he grew up and had a lot of money, he always looked to cultural values because as he said, culture makes human life sustainable.

According to Dr. Dao Minh Quang, this charity is a symbol of love and gratitude for his parents, family, teachers, professors, friends, partners and citizens of Vietnam and Germany, who gave him valuable knowledge and experience.

The Fund was established in December 2016, with the aim of developing cooperation between Vietnam and Germany, Dao's two homeland.

The Fund has five main activities, including promoting general education, encouraging university education in Vietnam, encouraging musical talent, developing sustainable and career processes for students and strengthening cultural exchange, music exchange between Vietnam and Germany.

In Vietnam, the Fund focuses primarily on sponsoring 7 schools, including 5 universities, 2 primary and secondary schools.

In Germany, the fund is for the integration of the first generation Vietnamese in Germany and for career advice in Germany for the second generation.
