Vietnamese Students Association established in Thailand
VNF - A congress was held in Bangkok on December 16th to found Vietnamese Students Association.
Ambassador Nguyen Hai Bang congratulates the Executive Board of the Vietnamese Students Association in Thailand.
Speaking at the congress, Vietnamese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Thailand Nguyen Hai Bang highly appreciated the dynamism, creativity and enthusiasm of many Vietnamese students in Thailand, considering the congress a playground for nearly 700 students studying in Thailand.
A new executive board was elected with Nguyen Dang Hoa Nghiem, a PhD student in maths at Chulalongkorn university, as President of the association.
The establishment of the Vietnamese Students Association in Thailand aims to strengthen mutual understanding and help each other share experience in studying and living.
The focus will be on building a network of connection among Vietnamese students that serves as a bridge to closer relationship between Thailand and Vietnam./.
