Vietnamese victims of Thailand’s apartment fire discharged from hospital
(VNF) - Two out of 13 Vietnamese victims of the apartment fire in Ratchathewi district, Bangkok, Thailand, had been discharged from hospital as of April 4th morning, says the Vietnam News.

Four or five other victims are expected to be able to return home during the day.
However, two victims in most serious conditions in the case, Le Thi Thuy Anh, a student, and Nguyen Thi Anh, a postgraduate, still need to receive treatment at Chulalongkorn hospital.
A fire occurred at about 2:30 am on April 3 in an apartment building in Ratchathewi district, Bangkok killed three people and injuring over 60 others.
After learning about the fire, Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand Nguyen Hai Bang instantly instructed officials in charge of overseas Vietnamese affairs to promptly identify Vietnamese victims in the accident.
In the afternoon of the same day, the diplomat and the embassy’s staff promptly visited the victims in the hospital.
According to Nguyen Dang Hoa Nghiem, President of the Vietnamese Students’ Association in Thailand, the association has mobilized members to come to the hospitals to support the victims.
Rajtevee Apartment Limited Partnership, owner of the building, has sent representatives to visit the victims and committed to compensate for human and property losses.
