A key event of the program will be the space dedicated to introducing Vietnam’s landscapes, people, and culture.
“After several rounds of selection from 150 photographs, the organizing committee has chosen 93 outstanding works that are artistically significant and appealing to foreign tourists,” said General Director of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism Nguyen Trung Khanh.
Photographs by artist Tran Tuan Viet prominently feature the scenic beauty and cultural essence of various ethnic groups and destinations. These works have made a significant impact in the media and are highly appreciated by international audiences.
“Whenever I have beautiful photos, I often share them on social media. I have over a million followers across various platforms, with more than 90% being foreign audiences. They see my images as inspiration to visit Vietnam and learn more about its culture and landmarks,” said the photographer at the press conference.
He added that the 93 photographs displayed at the Vietnam Tourism - Cinema Promotion Program in the US will highlight famous locations well-known to Hollywood filmmakers, including Son Doong Cave, Phong Nha-Ke Bang, Ninh Binh, Ha Long Bay, and Hoi An. The exhibition will also promote lesser-known but promising destinations like Ha Giang, Binh Thuan, and Da Lat.
The program will also feature a meeting with the US side to promote cooperation in tourism and cinema development, and a workshop to introduce the potential of Vietnam’s tourism and cinema.
The Vietnamese delegation will visit, work and discuss with Google the ways to best promote Vietnamese tourism and cinema.
