The Northwest region

Thanh Hoa - Thua Thien Hue region

Cloudy and sunny, with showers and thunderstorms in some places. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

The lowest temperature is from 24-27 degrees. The highest temperature is from 32-35 degrees, with some places over 35 degrees.

Da Nang to Binh Thuan region

Cloudy and sunny, especially in the north, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

The lowest temperature is from 24-27 degrees. Highest temperature is from 32-35 degrees.

Central Highlands region

Cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms in some places, especially in the evening. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

The lowest temperature is from 20-23 degrees. The highest temperature is from 27-30 degrees, with some places above 31 degrees.

Hanoi

Ho Chi Minh City

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on August 17, the Ho Chi Minh City area will be cloudy and sunny, with showers and thunderstorms in the evening and night.

The temperature is between 31-33 degrees in the morning and 26 – 27 degrees at night.

Da Nang

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that on August 17, the Da Nang area continued to be sunny during the day, without rain at night, and showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.

The temperature is in the range of 33 - 35 degrees in the morning and 27 – 28 degrees at night.
