(VNF) – Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO), Vice President of the Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association (VJFA), Director of the Vietnam - Japan Cooperation Center (VJCC) Bui Khac Son on August 21 chaired a working meeting with representatives from Next Energy and Resources Co.,Ltd (Japan).

The meeting brought together Vice President of the Vietnam Automation Association Hoang Quang Vinh; Deputy Secretary of VJFA, Vice Director, technical and administrative staff of VJCC; Next Energy and Resources's (NER) Vice Director of Japan regional market and Chief Accounting and Sales Officer of the company.

At the meeting, representatives from NER expressed their honor and delight to have the chance to visit and work in Vietnam.

They afterwards took the ocassion to share with the Vietnamese hosts their experiences in the field of solar energy and introduce to participants of the meeting the company’s business portfolio, as well as the development roadmap in Vietnam.

According to NER representatives, at the moment, the company's focus is searching for new clients to execute joint projects in renewable energy, including solar energy.

Hoang Quang Vinh, for his part, congratulated NER on successfully completing a number of projects in Vietnam as well as in other countries. He took the chance to brief NER on the progress of solar energy in Vietnam, and suggested several solutions to smoothly accelerate the project.

Vinh also expressed his hope that NER and Vietnam would join hands in more renewable-energy related projects in future, striving to form a chain of projects with higher effectiveness.

Vice President of VUFO Bui Khac Son, for his part, expressed his warm welcome to NER representatives, and thanked the company for their detailed introduction about renewable energy.

At the same time, Son expected that the two sides would take part in more in-depth discussions on cooperation models, as well as the implementation, to realize all goals of the project.

NER was established in December 2003 in Nagano (Japan), specializing in renewable energy development. Key works carried by NER include research and development, project execution, maintenance and post sale services.

The company has conducted many successful projects in different countries, particularly Indonesia./.
