VN-Malaysia Joint Committee on bilateral cooperation scheduled next week

The 5th meeting of the Viet Nam-Malaysia Joint Committee for Economic, Scientific and Technological Cooperation will take place from July 26-27 in Hanoi.

Spokesperson of the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry Le Thi Thu Hang released the news at a press conference on Thursday.

The meeting will be co-chaired by Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh and Malaysian FM Anifah Aman.

During the meeting, both sides are expected to review bilateral cooperation in political, trade, investment, defense and security, agriculture among other issues, Hang said.

The two sides will also discuss on ways to accelerate the bilateral cooperation in the time to come and exchange views on regional and international issues of common concerns, she added./.
