Vocation school for Vietnamese in Germany put into operation
(VNF) - A vocation school training Vietnamese on manicure, massage therapy and beauty treatment was recently set up in Berlin (Germany).
On the morning of June 24, the first course in "Dong Xuan Manicure & Spa" vocation center was kick started. Director of the Dong Xuan Trading center Nguyen Van Hien, together with representatives of partner enterprises, friends and trainees attended the opening ceremony.
Speaking at the opening address, Head of the center Le Xuan Dinh said the school was chartered to satisfy real demand of the community.
According to Dinh, currenly there are a lot of Vietnamese people working in the manicure industry, however most of them do not have chance to acquire the skills via formal training, but through learning from one other instead. It has led to an issue that many workers lack of relevant foundation knowledge. They are thus not aware of their mistakes while doing the job. Apparently, this shortcoming hinders worker's progress.
"Dong Xuan Manicure & Spa" has already worked with accredited professional training institution in Germany to invite credible instructors to support the school. Specially, after graduating, trainees who live depending on social welfare (Hartz IV) will receive a certificate recognizing the completion of the course, which will serve as relevant document for local Job center to help them cover tuition fee, Dinh noted.
When the course ends, trainees will receive certificate of graduation, and can take part in free-of-charge internship program in beauty treatment & spa facilitites which have relations with the school, to polish their skills before stepping into the real working world.
Director of the Dong Xuan trading center Nguyen Van Hien, for his part, highly appreciated the efforts made by Le Xuan Dinh in opening the vocation training center for Vietnamese in Germany, expressing hope that the school will develop rapidly and reap abundant successes.
According to Dr. Heinz-G. Joeken, one instructor of the school, conducting a course depens a lot in the coordination among the organizers, the management and instructors.
In terms of organizing the course, Le Xuan Dinh has done a great job, therefore, for his part, Joeken assured to try his best to guide his trainees.
Joeken added that spa, beauty care, healthcare are meant to make the customers feel relaxed, therefore multi services should be provided at the same time. For instance, the worker can offer massage to customers while giving him/her a manicure.
In recent yeats, existing business model of Vietnamese in Germany are falling into stagnant stage, some even have dissolved, the spa and beauty care industry will become a smart choice for Vietnamese people, who possess high level of diligence, patience and attention to details, the trainer said.
In addition, opening a nail shop does not cost as much as opening a restaurant, therefore, prospect for people who venture into this sector is very optimistic, Joeken added./.
