At the event, Hoang Trong Thuy, Chief Representative of the Zhi Shan Foundation in Vietnam, introduced various topics, including the development of reading programs in schools, planning reading activities, and methods of reading, note-taking, and sharing books with other related materials to enhance students' reading effectiveness.
Phan Thi Vy, Head of the Education and Training Department of Hoang Mai Town noted that the training session helped schools recognize the importance of promoting reading activities among students for their development. In particular, this session included the participation of parents with a shared desire to collaborate with schools in fostering reading habits among children.

In the coming time, schools need to intensify their reading activities, nurturing students' love for books, and working together with parents to spread the reading culture from schools to families.
"We are committed to gradually learning and implementing more effective reading activities in schools in Hoang Mai town in the upcoming academic year, thereby creating positive developments," said Phan Thi Vy.
According to a librarian from a local primary school, the training session is meaningful and practical, providing library staff with valuable knowledge to apply in school libraries. It also motivates them to continue a passion for reading among students.

During the training, many ideas were discussed regarding the current reading culture, solutions for cultivating reading habits and techniques among students, and how to apply the acquired knowledge and skills in both study and life.
On this occasion, the Zhi Shan Foundation presented to the participating schools a set of instructional materials on organizing reading activities for students. These materials include resources for developing reading skills, guides on cultivating reading habits and methods, and a collection of recommended books for teachers.
