Phu Quoc National Park takes up more than half of Phu Quoc Island, where nature lovers can spot rare wildlife and plants such as long-tailed macaques, silver langurs, otters, and hornbills. The whitest and cleanest sand can be found in the northern part near the Paradiso Restaurant. In the south of the beach, the sand becomes coarser with a yellowish hue. Besides a beach bar near under a roof made of palm leaves, you can have lunch at an open restaurant. The beach restaurants are pricier than anywhere else. The most popular drink here is sugarcane juice, its price is only 10,000 VND a glass.

Renting a jet ski costs 450,000 VND for 10 minutes, so you can rent one and try water skiing. Ten minutes are enough for you to know how flying on the water is! Near the cape is a port where local fishermen anchored their boats.

2. Dinh Cau Rock (Cau Temple)

Dinh Cau Rock, also known as Cau Temple, is an odd-shaped natural formation in Phu Quoc Island, which local fishermen pray to before embarking on fishing excursions. Located just next to the Duong Dong Fishing Harbor, it features a brightly-colored lighthouse and Buddhist shrine, making it a popular photography spot among travelers.

At the foot of Dinh Cau Rock is the Dinh Cau beach which is not really long but decent enough to have a quiet time for relaxing.

In the past, there is Dinh Cau night market nearby offering a plenty sight of seafood and street foods but in recently the market has gone. The only night market on Phu Quoc island you can find is at Bach Dang street.

3. Suoi Tranh Waterfall

Suoi Tranh Waterfall is a four-metre-tall waterfall within the Ham Ninh Mountains that’s surrounded by lush greenery, natural caves, and rock pools. A 10-minute drive from Duong Dong, this natural attraction is ideal for those looking to escape the bustling town centre.

From the gate of Suoi Tranh Waterfall, step foot slowly on the trail of slices of small stones moss. You will go through the canopy of green trees wind cool.

Sometimes you will go through the paths of the forest with the creeping vines. But through that you are back on the road full of golden sunshine through the trees to the ground, dried leaves and weeds. Under this small road, you will see the journey across the forest to discover Suoi Tranh stream lightly.

Sim wine is made from the local fruit called Sim or Rose Myrtle. Sim tree lives in many parts of the world, such as the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, and tropical regions in Asia.

People pick up the ripe sim at the harvest season, wash them, and mix them with granulated sugar in a certain proportion in the anaerobic environment from 9 months to 24 months.

After the product is fully fermented, it has a pink color and has a sweet and sour taste with a concentration of about 10 degrees.

5. Ham Ninh Fishing Village
