Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities

A place filled with traces of a golden dynasty

Built in 1923, the Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities is the first museum to appear in the ancient capital. From the outside, the Nguyen Dynasty's architecture, dating back to 1845, creates a sense of ancient and majestic beauty. The museum displays many high-value collections, reflecting the material life, political rituals, and ideology of the aristocracy and kings of the Nguyen Dynasty.

This place attracts visitors with over 500 antiques made of gold, crockery, porcelain, Hue glaze, royal medicine, royal clothes, etc. displayed to recreate royal life. Therefore, the museum is always an ideal destination for those who are interested and want to understand more about the history of Vietnam.

Le Ba Dang Museum

A place in an abundance of contemporary artistic and cultural values of Vietnam

Located in the ancient capital of Hue, Le Ba Dang Memory Space realizes the wishes of artists who want Hue to become the contemporary art and culture capital of Vietnam in the 21st century. This work is designed by architect Ho Viet Vinh with a delicate, luxurious perspective, in harmony with nature, in which the highlight is the space to display the artwork of painter Le Ba Dang.

The beauty of this museum is encapsulated by the main exhibition building and by the underground exhibition space which is cleverly arranged with art installations. Visitors can also admire the documentary images and feel the subtleties of his work with their own hands.

Fossil Exhibition

Journey to discover the origin of life on Earth

For the first time in Vietnam, Lyte fossils appeared with the largest size in the stone chrysanthemum group, creating a sense of curiosity and surprise for visitors. This fossil, called Lytoceras Chrysanthemum, existed in the Jurassic 174-164 million years ago and was found in Antananarivo, Madagascar. Not only creating the shape of a flattened, tightly coiled shape, an eye-catching round or nearly square cross-section, but nature also created beautiful patterns on the shell.

This summer, Hanoi Fossil Museum will bring 2000 fossil samples, ancient rocks quarried from Lytoceras fossils to Hue, and displayed at the exhibition "Fossils - Journey to discover the origin of life on the earth". The exhibition is organized in collaboration with Hue Monuments Conservation Center and within the framework of Hue Festival 2022. This promises to be an extremely hot check-in point thanks to its extremely creative and artistic display.

All five senses of visitors who enter the exhibition will be satisfied and they will get to hear stories from billions and hundreds of millions of years ago recreated in the form of shells, fossils and rocks.
